This is my dream build from my home shop. This design married the old and new concepts to create a truly unique 41 Ford Roadster Truck with modern driveline capable of being a fully functional driver or show vehicle. This build is an achievement thru hard work, perseverance and hands-on craftsmanship to keep the American Dream alive and to improve on Henry's legendary styling using cutting edge technology with todays superior materials.Virtually every piece of this unique vehicle is hand fabricated or machined with my utmost attention to detail and designed to compliment the entire build. The original 41 Ford image has been modified extensively while maintaining the authentic Ford fat fendered look.
This truck features an electrically operated retractable hardtop, a four-piece unit that includes the rear apron that flows into the bed cover. This modern convenience is incorporated into an old style appearance that carries over into the oval style rear window. The electrically operated rear apron conceals the top when it is the down position and creates a unique bed cover with the top in the up position.
This beautiful piece of automotive art must be presumed to be female because of her graceful flowing lines, alluring appeal and ravishing beauty. When viewed from different angles she appears to change and flow into different directions therefore her name must be and is Mirage. (my interpretation of a 1941 Ford Truck as determined by the interpretive faculties of the human mind where images are very easily mistaken for reflections).
